It is not yet completely dry : it depicts a landscape of the town of Lagos , where the new faces the old ( not unusual , in this part of the world , so rapidly " developing ".. ) , and , together , in harmony ( at least , in the eyes of the artist ) , they constitute a challenging reality .

If you , leisurely , walked up and down , in the narrow alleys of this old walled town , you might encounter a hidden corner , which might remind you of this Marialuisa's dream .... Then , your mind should be left free to run around , looking for what others can't see , or see differently : only so , if your sight is pure and has no preconceptions , the true meaning of the place could appear to you ....
